Construction Around Waves

Construction Around Waves
The artist’s stonework has abundant contrastive imagery and presents visual conflicts of rigidity and softness, beeline and curve, roughness and exquisiteness. By carving soft and elegant lines on the cold stonework, the work “Construction Around Waves” symbols what the artist’s eager to convey is : “I want to conquer Formosa where surrounded by the turbulent waves, I want to build my homestead, so just dig and carve! The heart deep buried underground has never vacillated, but it still flies as free as bluebird.” The work illustrates when balanced and serene power is held to confront the actual and virtual ups and downs in life, then, the firm belief won’t be effected.
