Caprioling Seashore
220x70x150

The artist simplifies the spindrifts into radial shapes of sheet-like plaids with concise and neat lines that present the imagery of spindrifts brandishing in the seashore. The texture of white marble is applied to express the tint and look of sprays, foams and lights so as to increase the clean and clear aesthetics of spindrifts and connect simple concept to make the modeling more cordial and understandable to viewers. The two big white marbles with twilled grids are like the perspective of waves from far to near, while the spindrifts and the globs present an interwoven aesthetics and have been transformed into symbolized wings of a butterfly, while under the sunshine, its context, texture and semi-transparent light have reflected the curve of seashore which is the characteristic of Hualien seashore that’s in the left side of the Pacific Ocean.
