Introduction
The creation, the reflection on human life and mind, is a dialogue of natural way while the mankind confronts with the environment.
Ever since Hsien-Ming Chiang chose stone sculpture as his way of life, his passions in sculpture grow accordingly. Though creating stone sculpture is a tiring difficult work, but it is full of challenges. It enriches the substantial meaning in Chiang’s life.
He aims to elucidate the theme, the beauty of nature and the philosophy toward life. Through probing into the interaction not only between people, but also between people and environment, Chiang tries to raise the question about human value and perspective toward life. The life circle, fertilities and decay, of all livings on this earth moves him, from which his creativity is constantly inspired.
Chiang intends to create a living space of embracing thought of humanity where may demonstrate the interaction between people and environment. Within the finite space, he attempts to explore the lost of life in his creation, so that he feels at ease in life.
