Nicolas Bertoux was born in France in 1952. He began his career in Paris as an architect for interiors before deciding to concentrate on sculpture. His approach to sculpture began in 1973 working alongside his father, Jacques Bertoux, on a number of works at Henraux Spa, Italy. Following extensive experience and travel that led to the creation of numerous works of monumental sculpture, Nicolas moved to Versilia in the '90s, where he continues to live and work today.
