Introduction
Ye graduated from Yu-Li Senior High School and Department of Environment Management of Dahan Institute of Technology. During his school years, he was highly inspired by his teacher Chuang-Yung Chiu and Wen-Wei Chang. In the meantime, he won the silver prize for Stone Sculpture in National Skill Competition. He has great passion towards stone sculpture creation, mainly using Hualien marbles.

He not only had participated in creating the stone Buddhism statues Chung Tai Chan Monastery and Dharma Drum Mountain, but also being the assistant in Master Chu Ming’s studio and the instructor of stone sculpture art for Zihciang Minimum-Security Prison. His works was selected to Sculpture group of National Art Exhibition. In 2012, his work “Lang Hua” was selected to the Third BenQ International Sculpture Workshop and he made creation in the workshop as well.

Ye suggests that “Transform the gradually fading beauty of nature into the inspiration and motivation of creation. Only by using the simplified creating skills, could one get rid of the additional details and preserve the simplest elements like abstract geometric lines. The white marbles will move people with the most sincerity.
