The Collection Area of the Museum provides the collected art works a good storing environment. It includes a registration processing room, a studio, a photography room, and a storage room. Staff registering, maintaining, and managing the collected art works established complete information of all collectible items.
First Planned Exhibition Area
Planned Exhibition Area regularly holds exhibitions for internationally renowned artists. The exhibition content changes every three months. It also offers a performing stage for artists upon application.
Modern Stone Sculpturing Area
The works of contemporary stone sculpturing artists are exhibited for extended period of time, in the meanwhile; exhibitions are arranged to coordinate with special activities.
Traditional Stone Sculpturing Area
The main exhibits are traditional Chinese stone sculpturing, presenting the wisdom and achievement of the ancestors' stone sculpturing arts as displayed in the daily life, buildings' structures and materials, graves and religions. Video/Audio Area
Using multimedia to present Museum related information, allowing visitors to understand the functions of the Museum and the stone sculpturing art.
Information Center
The Museum is the information exchange center for Taiwan and World's stone crafts. The information collected include the briefings of participants of International Stone Sculpturing Festivals every year and their art works, information of collected artwork pieces, and information of stone crafting environment in Hualien. Restaurants and outdoor coffee shop
The elegant and quiet eatery place allows art-appreciating fellows and visitors to take a rest.
