Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The artist says that there is imperatively the element of life in his stonework, while in this work, he tries to apply new concept of topological geometry to present the artistry in space. The work illustrates that the two levels of the reality can be one as the nature of light. The complexion of the work is like Taiji (the Absolute or Supreme Ultimate in Chinese mythology), but actually it is the same surface in both right and left sides. It tries to show that human beings know limitedly about cognition, while in terms of certain viewpoint, something is right, but it might be wrong in terms of other viewpoint. The same thing can have different explanations when it is seen from different view, or it can even generates huge discrepancy due to different custom, language or religion, therefore, the world can be different, too.
