Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

“Growth within Hualien” portrays the inherent and infinite potential for future development to Hualien. The rising directional sinews of the surface detail evoke the organic growth force of limes, trunks and flowers. These, in turn, activate the architectural core of the vertical marble block. By combining the architectonic and the organic this sculpture attempts to convey balance and harmony between nature and man.
