Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

Point to the Northeast, Walk to the Southwest
160x80x270

With the shape like a walking castle, the opening at the junction of black granite and white marble implies both the inside & outside of the wall and the sceneries. With the sea on the east and the mountains on the west, Hualien was slanted “toward the north-east and stretched out southwestwards”. It might be the reason why the residents living in the mountain behind with difficulty to connect with outside world always embed deeply the ambition and eager for flying out to the world.
