Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The artist transforms a huge, inconspicuous stone into a stone sculpture with complicatedly artistic model. The work is composed of four different symbolic elements, including fire, water, earth and air which are the substances constituted a big planet, and they are all balanced energies in the cosmos while the stonework is comprised of parallel and horizontal geometric-shape stone materials. The whole complexion and structure is like that of the aircraft flying in the cosmos. In terms of the bulk and spatial structure, it is both steady and multi-faceted. Though it is a geometric modeling, the stonework contains visual prospective of multiple composition and the mindset of intensity, therefore, it expresses the aesthetics that combining with technological viewpoints.
