The artist feels like to base on round tubular shapes to create his works, and he thinks that round tubes are like the diversity of life that can have abundant and capricious shapes. The round tubular curves in this work contain abstract changes which faintly remind us that the artist is deeply influenced by French virtuoso of stone sculpture Constantin Brâncuşi, so he uses the rounded tubes as his characteristic of stonework too. What the difference is that his style is not to express often the same elements in his work as Constantin Brâncuşi does, but presents lines of his own style from the round tubes. The three round holes of the work are carved out a channel inward, while the deeper inside the channel, the smaller the hole is, until only a small pore is left at the terminal as if it is a channel exploring the ancient time.
