Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The upward and downward movements of the cube are similar to amplitude patterns. The artist uses geometric blocks to render the momentum of a rigid three-dimensional object. Several flat square stones are irregularly placed next to each other. Lines from the overlapping stones and the changes in light and shadow interact with one another, presenting a simple sense of balance and beauty. The smooth texture of the white marble endows the work with a sense of lightness.
