Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

After a gust of wind sweeps through, the white marble appears to become entangled in the air tempestuously. With deep, lively etches, the artist uses bold yet delicate methods to materialize his inspirations onto sculpture. For the artist, inspiration is perhaps a moon imprinted amongst the clouds of a deep, dark night sky. Through freehand methods, sculpture draws upon tangible and intangible along with abstract and figurative features to show the interdependence and coexistence of static and dynamic.
