Voyage of Destiny
110*30*53
Elisa Corsini places white human figures within a boat made of corroded stone. The slender limbs of these naked figures are reminiscent of the circle of dancers featured in Matisse's paintings. It can be said that they are encircling the cabin of the boat in a state of weightlessness. They pull and yank at each other, forming a network woven out of the human figure while shaping a common temporal and spatial existence. Their bodies reside with this woven structure, while their destinies are interlinked on the boat. Life and energy continues in a transitive and circular state, embarking on a journey that has neither beginning nor end. It is a voyage of life that is filled with expectations.
