Between the Shore
18*68*23
Simple geometric modeling is used to constitute the imagery of waves slamming against a coastline. The cube and column to the left and right represent land, which stands stable and unwavering. The curves serve as flowing waves, which seem to be twisted and crushed by a strong external force. This works expresses the exact moment when the power of a wave colliding against land is condensed and released. The artist cleverly uses the contrasting lines to show the most dynamic and tense side of natural landscapes.
