Small, white squares are located near the top of a black, irregularly-shaped block. Black and white, big and small, and geometric and irregular elements come together to form a strong visual contrast. Here, the artist specially retains ambiguous semantics: for two heterogeneous objects, both are located in each other’s “boundaries.” If we view both as one entity, then it must see us as the existence of another boundary. Where do the scope of “boundaries” lay? Where is the inside of the boundary? Each person has their own interpretation, and each definition is only relative rather than absolute.
