Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

There are one large and one small fractured plates of black marble symbolizing the earth. The lines of the stone streak across the texture are as beautiful as the starry sky, provoking viewers to perceive the natural mystery and touching sentiments behind the notion of “seeing the world in a grain of sand.” The earth is the world. The long, white geometric elements symbolize the fragments of surface layers of the earth, while the stone plate and the long strip of stonework are vertically connected, revealing a hidden whole world and also implying an eternally inseparable relationship between life and the world.
