The rising and falling texture of the regalite stone ripple to form the folds of sleeves and hoods. At the same time, it invokes the illusion of tea picking. The fluid postures of the tea picking women as well as their cordial and lively interactions are all very organic and hearty, without any traces of chiseling left behind. The work does not extricate itself from the stiff stone nor is it necessarily derived from a linear chisel. Instead, it is more like experiencing the wind or sea - a natural breath-like metabolism that develops an abundant vitality and instills an endless rhythm between action and interaction.
