Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The stainless steel ring converts and reflects shades of light depending on the angle from which viewers look at it. Near the bottom, a long beige stone penetrates through the ring. Small human figures carved out of black marble are placed on top of the stone. The small figures reveal a variety of different positions, such as sitting or kneeling. Lively and full of life, they seem to just be bathing in the sun. And the beige stone is like a boat, carrying people through the bright circle of the sun. Indeed, it is journey that is filled with sunlight!
