Drawing on concepts for sculpture installation art, Barbara Liotta hangs her sculpture work, Dryad, from a tree. For darker areas, she uses white marble from Taiwan along with white suspension wire; for more well lit areas, black granite from India along with black suspension wire. Liotta’s work is tailored to the venue of each exhibition by engaging in a dialogue with the space, ensuring each piece is in harmony with the surrounding.
