Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The stonework is adopted the theme of naked woman commonly seen in the history of arts. The artist uses polished rounded arc to present the aesthetics of female body. Her lazily raising head, kneeling down with chest sticking out, turning sideway and her backward hands holding her back, and her lanky body have provoked infinite reveries in “anticipating” for viewers. The artist is good at grasping the sense of human body’s lines, and making it with concisely geometric curves with a bit of realistically rhythmical posture. His works do not go forward to pure lower limits but pursue post-modernistic concept of combinative softness and beauty so as to integrate the projected emotions of described connotation with completely concise quality and create a work filled with rough extended tension.
