The artist simplifies the imagery of a beauty and integrates the streamline of her figure into the ripples perfectly. The streamline modeling exactly expresses the posture of a woman squatting on the river bank watching the water. The work tries to convey the kaleidoscopic change of water flowing as some of it slipping from above, another dropping into the pond, while the other wandering through the valley and even wandering over the mountains which explains that the water has carried lots of stories filled with Buddhistic Zen spirit and poetic quality. The elegant curve of squatting posture and the gracefully restrained shaking sleeves filled with delicacy, splendor and pure aesthetics seem that the lady figure is gracefully picking up a dipper of water and watching the water flowing leisurely through her knees that reminds her lots of imaginary memories.
