Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The artist carves two concise and sharp human shapes, while the extensional ratio of the lanky bodies makes the images appear elegant. The two characters snuggle closely to each other as if they are dancing. The artist deliberately integrates the two characters’ bodies together with seemingly rotating and moving dance. It seems the two are very reveling in the whirling dance. The simplified lines symbolizes the dynamic of moving, while the unsteady speed of their dancing looks like their bodies are closely connected. When one of them puts the upper half of the body forward, and the other one puts backward, there is a gap reserved between them.
