The author chooses a black marble to carve out the smooth cylinder shape with intensively plump texture which symbolizes a mother’s body with the connotation of seemingly profound, tranquil and harmonious torso. The middle part of the work seems like a female womb gestating the baby of the couple. And the concise streamline surrounding the body shows a mysterious and infinite space, while the minimalistic style is added into totem-like fire-and-water patterns makes the oracle of gestation break through the tranquil and abundant life meaning that is just the excellent condition of aesthetics and caring, while the joyful expectation has been reflected in the countenance.
