Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The artist deliberately manages the characteristics of the stone material and the combination of three geometric and dynamic slates, as well as makes the surface diagonal lines of the white marble as the muscle of the stonework, then, applies simple lines and curves to display the simply formative symbol of open sails so as to create the flowing sense of air penetrating through the sails and the force of wind blowing to swell out the sails. Viewers seems to be able to see the wind squeezing out and blowing over the gaps of the sails, while the irregularly geometric shapes in the static work build up the image of sailing and successfully convey the dynamically harmonious sense of the nature.
