Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The work is mainly made of black granite with white marbles as a collocation. There is a little bit realism in the surrealistic style, and the black sky is expressed like a simple rectangle, while several white clouds are inserted on the top area symbolizing the clouds drifting across the sky, and the bright moon is the hole near the bottom of the black rectangle. The contrast between the entity and the void in it has interwoven into picturesque aura. Such unadorned and simple approach of true-false technique presents the simple beauty of the nature. And the both real and modernized concise style contains a sense of design for creative artistic conception that is intriguing and understandable. It is convinced that viewers would be easily integrated and involved in the ambit of the work; at the same time, understand how the cosmos and the firmament would reappear naturally.
