Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The Artist Zong-Jie Yu thinks the stone is an intermediary between nature and human. He chooses stone to compose his art not only in order to create a model piece, but also to connect him with the natural life. In this product, he curves the black marble with simple shape to express the neutral and silent character of ‘Night’. It implies the innate state may be changed by different places and space. The artist wants to show his love to the mother land through a slim and happy bird singing gracefully in the sparkling night.
