Sailing
The marble displays the shape of sail’s bulging and inflating when the ship confronts with winds. In the hollow middle, there are irregular clumps which are the technique of expression the artist accustomed to use; while the simple geometrical symbols in the stonework imply a kind of dynamic source for flowing and revolving---wind power, just like a small engine or a small heart supporting a ship’s forwarding. The bottom of the beneath right triangle represents the hull, while the sail stands firmly on the top of the triangle, such imbalanced viewpoint forms visual dynamic just like the shape when a ship braves the huge wind and waves to forward in the sea!
