Resonance
The artist chooses wind instruments as the theme of the stone work, and the modeling is basically a huge bass brass with the arc-shaped horn open upward, while there are two drumstick-like wands laid aslant in the mouth of the instrument. The whole curve and posture brings a dynamic implication. The work is made of aurora marble which texture presents a little bit red color, and such color system bearing a delightful sense symbolizes that colorful musical notes are played; therefore, the “resonance” becomes a clever collocation like shining sunlight. Such arrangement has made the minglement of audio and video perceptions in the work more vivid, while the implication of abstract musical conception makes viewers as delighted as reveling in the flowing melodies.
