Choosing white marble as material and using rough sculptural technique to carve towering cone column combined with the elements of ancient fossil styling, the artist expresses the masculine verve of primitive megalithic culture. The stonework which is filled with primitive aesthetics has made up the connotation of material trimorphism. The transformation of material could not be too normal, while comparing with their trimorphic statuses, some have stationary volume, and the others have not; or some keep stable volumes and shapes, while the others not only haven’t them but also haven’t expansiveness and compressibility, etc. though the process behind are very subtle and complicated. The highly erecting memorial landmark contains the appeal of primitive megalith, while the combination of each part expresses a kind of balance and the concept of human aesthetics.
