Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The Artist got inspiration from the poem of a poet in Cing Dynasty , Song,Zhi-Yu. It describes a naked woman falling into old time memories and missing the great time with her lover. Years have gone past and things change a lot. How sad is that everything is different nowadays and only she is alone. It reminds the audience a movie of Director Hsiao-Hsien Hou ‘Three Times’. It says the best time is always a past time. You can’t make it happen again so you can only memorize it in your mind. This sculpture describes a lonely woman sitting by her own and hope the good time from her memory could come back, but it will never happen to her. You can only hear the voice of time pasting away.
