Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

Sibylle Pasche chooses three natural stones to make several geometry lines. It is a geometry experiment of stone to display a different thinking on the contrary of traditional sculpture skill. Each of these three different size oval stones are split into half and create a narrow black space by the line of crack. The trajectory in Math is the assembly of all points in certain character to compose a geometry line. In the same time, these split oval shapes are following the trajectory to symbolize the evolution of life and the development history of culture. It leads people to discuss the meaning of life.
