Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

As the artist says, “I feel besides falling in love with stones, we also need to fall in love with machines; but other materials are not my consideration temporarily, the stone is still my favorite.” “Dancing Rocks” is like a duet dance which the artist dances with the stonework. His passion for the art of stone sculpture has been drawn and stirred in the duet. There is no tough confrontation with toughness between the artist and the stone material. The incision and carving tracks of the stonework are quite different from the common, since the artist deliberately expresses and elaborately polishes the stonework until it exposes the stone material’s crystallization, then, it makes up a kind of playfully special contemplation between the artist and the stone material, as well as displays the artist’s unstoppable affection and passion for stone material.
