Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The artist uses two different stone materials, black granite and white marble, to make up a sculpture of modernistic sense. In the work, there is an arc door with magnificent atmosphere, while the sleek and subtle appearance gives viewers a feeling of nobility and elegance. Some simple symbols are carved in the white marbles in both sides which bearing the message the artist wants to convey. The top of the door and the upper side of the door are made of black granites, and the five balls in the gangway are also made of black granites which are correspondent to those circle symbols on the door plank and have seemingly recorded an ancient legend and the description will be circulated among the posterity’s minds.
