Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The artist observes the rhythm of the nature and the cosmos, then, takes simplified and transformed form as the sensatory elements of his stonework. A series of his works have taken the round shapes as the longitude, and the time as the latitude, while the longitude and the latitude are interwoven in the round bulk with holes as if they are the exits for breathing sparsely distributed over the stonework, and the rims of every hole are a little bit protrusive upward like the relics on the caldera. The abstract approach expresses the trail that there has ever been breathing here. And time also left several remanent vestiges. Therefore, the round white marble is teeming with poetic memories, and the celestial body once having breathes is telling those stories when it restored to tranquility from irradiant past.
