Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The artist exaggeratively describes the modeling of sea waves and excavates the underside to reflect the sense of lightness of sea waves. He thinks that besides displaying the free modeling of the ocean, the connection between the two fulcrums is also like a bridge symbolizing the connection between two cities and the friendship among countries. “Sea Waves” is an exaggerated and amplified figuration, which is only a drop of spindrift but is used to be compared to the big ocean and is transformed into a seagull with opening wings which symbolizes the connection between sea waves and the seashore, while the ocean is also like a soft contact linking to the land; and such concise curves and exaggerated big figuration contain the effect of extended tension in visual sense.
