Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The artist invites viewers to appreciate this work with calm mood and meditation, and as seeing the interaction and changes between the light, shadows and lines, it is expected that the encounter would become a track of memories. The complexion of the upright square column is made of many water ripples-like curves, while there are also several almond-like black shapes which are the center of those ripples bringing forth layers of sheet lines which contain vitality and rhythms as if someone tries to skim a flat stone over the water; when the stone lightly springs up and down the water provoking countless ripples one by one, it is similar to our life, where there are always things as trivial as feathers and also passersby in our life journey who meet us only by chance, but they can leave impressive vestiges in our hearts.
