Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The artist’s idea of stone sculpture creation considers that different individual and culture can bring a collision and integration of thoughts; furthermore, stimulate endless inspirations. The work is made of white and black marbles. The white marble is presented in a lived organic form and the life is slowly flowing from the top to the center of the bottom black marble, symbolizing that the spirit of stone sculpture consists in the infusion of the artist’s idea into the stones, transforming originally nonliving material into an existence of soul and meaning; at the same time, displaying the dynamic of creation by way of combining different stone materials.
