Dancer
The stonework, “dancer”, is carved as a dancing body seemingly rhythmic like floating wind or water with her feet on tiptoe and hands lifting as if there is a kind of excitement for getting ready. The dancer’s exaggerated lifting leg is the key point force. Such instant posture has burst out surprisingly galloping momentum. The dancer looks up to heaven and bends his knees, and touches the ground after rotates high into the air which definitely shows the female dancer’s shedding of her passion for performing life. The stonework “Dancer” is filled with aura and catches the instant excitement. The artist carves the stone material of smooth black granite to adequately convey and release the dancer girl’s spirit from the stone, and makes the stone speaks authentically for performing art, and expresses that physical dynamic can communicate with the public.
