The artist is good at capitalizing on the tension of steel cables and stone materials, and expressing the relationship of interactive will in the imagery by bondage. By way of combining the hard nature of granite with steel cable containing apparently soft but matchlessly strong binding force, the artist uses extremely simple molding and minimal lines as visual vocabulary. The void and entity of the rift is the tension presenting a kind of life-awakening power, while the steel cable is like the challenge to life.
