Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The Artist Hung-Yang Tai tries to express the image of ancient alchemy by the natural rock and metal material. He chooses Chinese ancient five elements as the concept of this piece, which could be connected with human life attitude and art representation perfectly. He keeps the original rough surface of the black granite rectangle to show the sense of rock beauty, and inlays the stainless steel to make a leg supporting the whole rock and some golden crescent moon shapes decorating the surface. The rectangle rock with gorgeous decoration is a little bit slanted but it causes a balance movement.
