Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

This product displays the image of woman’s body and character, and this subject is the Artist Maria Rucker’s favorite in her sculpture creation. She chooses the character of the material to create the suitable art. She carves a more than two meters high stones into two connected round cups with original rough surface on the top and ears on two side of the cup for holding. ‘Couple Cups’ expresses the contrary of combination and separation, which also symbolizes the ambiguous time between friend and lover. The rough top and the polished body also express a strong contrary of natural and unnatural.
