Wind
Along the far-flung shore of the Pacific Ocean, there are several stone sculptures scattered in the Chihsingtan Beach. The work “Wind” is five meter high and like a sailing boat with a swelling sail which well defines the invisible wind. The work uses the imagery of swelling sail to convey the existence and flowing of air. The relationship between the wind and the sail is just like the creature’s dependence on air, and it also symbolizes the dynamic of the boat’s full speed sailing forward. The makeup of the sail and the boat expresses the appropriate connection between living creatures. The artist’s artistic life is also like the boat with swelling sail that has set sail, and headed for a perfect voyage in riding wind and breaking waves for good.
