This work features a white rectangle whose front and rear sides have wavy openings. With this, the artist explores possibilities for the virtual and real aspects of space. It also encourages viewers to enter and feel the sensations of space within the stone. This symbolizes how the person becomes a part of the stone at this time. When light penetrates the opening and enters this intimate space, a person can feel themselves become one with the stone, land, nature, and the universe. This causes one to think of traditional Chinese philosophies regarding people and heaven as one. Indeed, ancient Eastern and modern Western thought meet here in a chance encounter.
