Introduction
He was born in Miyazaki, Japen in 1949. Graduated from Miyazaki University in 1972. Completed his expertise at Saga University. During 1982-1986, he worked on Kyushu arts. Since 1986, including Kyushu Contemporary Sculptures Exhibition, he attended a lot of international activities. In japan, he was awarded the Yokohama prizes for two consecutive years in 1996. He attended a lot of sculpture symposium, colony and festivals as artist. The sculptures which he created were exhibited in parks, squares and public buildings in Japan’s different cities. Lastly, he joined Komurcuo?lu Stone Sculpture Colony, created the sculpture named “The door of the wind”.
(THE DOOR OF THE WIND) Wind and light pass through the door. At the other side of the dooe there are dreams and hopes. One’s heart is on the side of the light door. I have desired to visit Pamukkale for a long time. Thanks to colony that I could make it possible. I used a good quality travertine. I think my sculpture has a soft and beautiful expression. We worked in a friendly and favorable environment. It has been a very good experience for me.
