Introduction
Studying in fine art class in senior high school, Chen started his journey to the art. He began to learn fundamental two-dimensional paining, receiving solid fundamental training at school. While joining entrance exam to university, he accidentally chose the Dept. of Sculpture in National Taiwan University of Arts and opened another turning points in his life. From studying fundamental training of forming human body, he contacted wooden sculpture and stone sculpture. He found what he loved is natural materials, which is perhaps that he loves nature since childhood. Being fond of the possibility of unexpectedness, Chen gradually becomes interested in exploration of materials.
