Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The work uses the sunrise as the creative source. The two-petal lotus is connected in a semicircle shape, reminiscent of the gorgeous sunrise just emerging from the sea. The lower semicircle is the reflection of the sun on the sea, and the U-shaped hollow out in the middle to symbolizes the topography of Hualien's Rift Valley and the features of Taroko Gorge. Qixingtan is a dating place for lovers, and the work is like two people standing opposite each other holding hands, allowing the sun to rise slowly through the middle of the work, witnessing the everlasting love.
