Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

Soaring is a dynamic sculpture based concepts of dimensionality. From a horizontal view, its contours and shape are rather unclear, and the winding paths of its structure resemble a chrysalis. However, from a vertical view, the work looks like a soaring ecstatic butterfly. Its lustrous surface make the work seems like an origami. The negative and positive space of the sculpture is also well balanced. The polished store surface imbue the work with a sense of air-like dimensionality. In a bizarre way, it is as if the work undergoes a metamorphosis to disport the space time around it.
