Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

French sculptor Banchelin Yves uses the carving trend of twists and turns which direction is unpredictable to wander over the surface of white marble at will. The facets which were interlaced repetitively and carved unconstrainedly have projected dense folds and the phantom of kneading as if a flower-like ice-crystal cloud blossoms out soft and fluffy imagination under the switchback of light. This “Cloud” presents mushroom-like stance on the top as if it has kept the balance after being pulled out, or it is even more like columnar nebula which rakes together gases and dusts. That is a column of magnificent light-axis projecting to our eyes when the fixed star was born.
