Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The piece, Whirling, explores the buried core from the rough stone surface. Such depth trip of exploration seems to fall into a self-indulgent swirl that is gloomy, obscure but wonderful and beautiful; The downward swirly texture is the very locus that precipitated like fossils with raw marks along the way which whirling forward to the profound inside. When it whirls down, it is rotating around the illusion that is sometimes deep, sometimes shallow and flickering which shows out the potential freshness and radian. The work guides viewers to gaze into the recess. And as viewers’ spirits also go on a trip after their eyes, the stone itself has submerged into a black hole and disappeared indiscernibly.
